- CTI was invited to participate in the 2017 Annual Meeting of the B20 China Business Council.
- CTI won the 2017 Best Cooperation Agency Award of CITIC Bank.
- “Beauty/Flower Vase”, the work of CTI’s designer Peng Zhong, won the 2017 China Red Star Design Award.
November
- Liu Shang attended the APEC CEO Summit in Da Nang, Vietnam.
- “Gift from the Postal Savings Bank: Forbidden City Yasui Gold Money for Luck” was launched.
- CTI held “The Design for China – National Image Designer Zhou Lingqi Zodiac Works Release Conference” at People’s Daily, and it was broadcasted through the internet for the first time.
- “China Construction Bank Gold Note” for the Year of the Dog was launched, with 2.8 million sets sold within three days after its release.
- “Yizhenjiangshan” Paperweight, the work of CTI’s designer Peng Zhong, won the Product Design Award issued by the IDS International Design Pioneer List.
- “Ding Hai Tea”, the work of CTI’s designer Peng Zhong, won the nomination of Taiwan’s Six Arts Award 2017.
- CTI and the Palace Museum Cultural Products and Services worked together to launch “Guangda Ruyi Fu”, the first in the series of Everbright Bank gold “Guang Da Ruyi” series.
October
- Obtaining the exclusive license from Zhou Lingzhao, the “national image designer”, CTI launched “Zodiac Works Series by Art Masters”. For the first time, CTI developed “Golden Dog Blessing Chinese Zodiac Commemorative Silver Notes”, the commemorative note project with the denomination on the notes. Besides, “Zodiac Commemorative Silver Coin for the Year of Dog by Zhou Lingzhao” was also launched.
September
- “Zodiac Silver Painting by Fan Zeng” and “the Royal Bless” were selected as cultural and creative gifts for the 2017 “Belt and Road Women's Forum”.

- CTI established its sub-brand “CHIZO”.
- CTI and the Palace Museum Cultural Products and Services achieved a strategic cooperation relationship.
- CTI completed the shareholding system transformation.
- When the “10th Anniversary Celebration of CTI” was held, President Liu Shang published and interpreted the company’s international cultural values.

- President Liu Shang invited by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet visit the New Zealand for the second time. Prime Minister Bill English accompanied Liu to visit the New Zealand Mint and signed an exclusive strategic cooperation agreement.
April
- CTI cooperated with China Merchants Bank for the first time to launch “the Golden Sunflower Commemorative Silver Medal” for the 30th Anniversary of China Merchants Bank.
- President Liu Shang was invited to attend the awards ceremony of the 37th National Best Stamp Popularity Poll, and interviewed was taken on the event.
March
- CTI became a licensed retailer of China Gold Coin Incorporation and the two companies jointly launched the “Commemorative Book of the Belt and Road”. A total of 149 banks participated in the sale, and 200,000 sets were sold out within one month, boosting confidence in the entire industry.
January
- CTI, in cooperation with the famous Chinese art master Han Meilin, developed and promoted the precious metal derivatives of Zodiac Art of the Year of the Rooster by Han Meilin, and successively launched the zodiac stamp series products such as “Good Luck: Special Commemorative Edition of Zodiac Stamp of the Year of the Rooster created by Masters”.
